I have tried for many years to lose weight with little or no success. After years of excuses I have finally decided to be an adult about it. I have admitted to myself that the reason I haven’t gotten the results that I wanted is because of laziness, boredom and pure lack of perseverance. Like the old saying goes, you can’t continue to do the same thing and expect different results. You get out of a situation what you put into it.
Today I am resolving to put an end to this harmful cycle and make positive life changes. As I shared before, I have been on a quest to find healthier foods for my family and I to enjoy. For over three years now I have been very successful in making better food choices. Now all that is left is to find and stick to an exercise regimen that fits with my lifestyle and interests.
I have come to realize that doing the same workout every day does not work for me. I get bored really easily and I end up dreading the next workout. Essentially it becomes a chore that I rather not take part in. So I have decided to change up my routine on a weekly basis to keep things fresh and fun.
